What You'll Do

As Plant Accountant, you'll be the go-to person to manage and provide Cost and related tasks to support the concrete plants:

  • Coordinate vendor set-up and complete requested credit references.
  • Review daily receiving logs and reconcile related AP invoices to quantity received and prices quoted.
  • Communicate directly with vendors to resolve billing issues and track credit/re-bills as applicable.
  • Perform month-end accounting activities such as ensuring all material and labor costs are recorded and analyzing variances.
  • Perform additional assignments per direction of Plant Accounting Manager

What You Bring

Educational and experience requirements include: 4 year business or technical degree plus minimum 2 years administrative experience or equivalent combinations training and related experience. Working knowledge of general office procedures plus ability to organize and coordinate group work efforts required. Proficient research, supervisory and communicative skills essential. Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in interpreting and applying Company policies and procedures.

A note on the role: while some tasks are administrative, this is not a clerical or data-entry position. We're looking for someone who brings discretion, independent judgment, and a problem-solving mindset to the table.

Reports to the Plant Accounting Manager.
