SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE SPECIALIST (OPERATIONS)
About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W1U301 US ARMY INTELLIGENCE AND SECURITY CMD.
- Plans, supervises, and conducts counterintelligence investigations, collections, and operations to identify and counter foreign intelligence and terrorist threats.
- Directs counterintelligence support to force protection, critical infrastructure protection, threat assessments, and vulnerability assessments.
- Develops and implements counterintelligence operational plans, reports, procedures, and information-sharing requirements.
- Establishes and maintains liaison with U.S., host-nation, and partner intelligence, law-enforcement, security, and military organizations.
- Supervises assigned personnel by setting work priorities, providing technical guidance, evaluating performance, and ensuring required training and mission readiness.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning and conducting counterintelligence operations, coordinating with U.S. and host-nation partners, and providing counterintelligence threat and force-protection support to commanders and supported organizations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG-13).
